Youth Policy Dialogue with Commissioner Micallef at the European Youth Event

Glenn Micallef, Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport, will hold a Youth Policy Dialogue with young people during the EYE (European Youth Event). The session will be about 'Continuing the Discussion: Youth Perspectives on EU Priorities'.

The EYE (European Youth Event) brings together at the European Parliament in Strasbourg thousands of young people from all over the European Union and the world, to share and shape their ideas on Europe’s future. It is a unique opportunity for 16-30-year-olds to interact, inspire each other and exchange their views with experts, activists, influencers and decision-makers, right in the heart of European democracy.

EYE2025, the sixth edition of the event, will take place on 13 and 14 June 2025 and will feature a wide range of activities in Strasbourg. During the event, participants will take part in activities co-created with institutions, international organisations, civil society, youth organisations and participants themselves, offering a space for discussions and networking.

'Continuing the Discussion: Youth Perspectives on EU Priorities'

 Youth Policy Dialogues have become a key feature in the Commissioner’s agendas for young people to contribute to the EU's policy-making processes. The EYE2025 is the perfect stage for a Youth Policy Dialogue with Commissioner Glenn Micallef.   

The theme of the Dialogue will be 'Continuing the Discussion: Youth Perspectives on EU Priorities'. The discussion will center around the key takeaways from the previous Youth Policy Dialogues held with all Commissioners in the first 100 days of the new mandate, with a focus on the EU's five strategic priorities:

• A Competitive and Sustainable Union
• A Democratic Union
• A People- and Social-Centered Union
• A Global Union
