Call for European youth organisations - Deadline extended!
Last updated on Friday, 02/08/2024
Apply to become a member of the new EU Youth Stakeholders Group! The deadline has been extended to 5 August 2024
The European Commission is inviting European youth organisations to express interest to become members of the EU Youth Stakeholders Group, a new network, legacy of the 2022 European Year of Youth.
The EU Youth Stakeholders Group will connect the EU with national youth councils, European youth organisations, youth researchers and stakeholders, and Member State representatives working in the youth field.
This call only concerns European youth organisations (youth-led organisations or organisations which have youth advisory structures – see full definitions in the call), having members from and/or operating in at least six EU countries.
Those selected to become members of the EU Youth Stakeholders will:
- receive firsthand pertinent information about ongoing developments in European youth policy cooperation, initiatives, and campaigns relevant for young people and youth organisations,
- contribute to policy-making and the Commission’s ‘youth check’ process by amplifying the voice of young people and youth organisations at the EU level,
- get involved in specific initiatives of the European Commission, such as the European Youth Week.
Check out the eligibility and selection criteria and the full details of the call and apply by 5 August.
