Sustainable Skills for Ecovillage Development
GLOBAL ECOVILLAGE NETWORK
Global Ecovillage Network
Forres, United Kingdom
Description
This project will take place at the Global Ecovillage Network, based in Findhorn, Northern Schotland. We are offering you a structured, experiential learning journey over the course of 12 months, to support the development of a range of skills, knowledge and tools that will lead you to a diverse array of meaningful and sustainable livelihood opportunities, and enable you to become effective and inspiring leaders able to bring about positive change in their communities. By joining the team at GEN, you will take part in the daily work of the organization, directly supporting projects that have a real impact across Europe and the world. The office is based in the famous Findhorn Community in Northern Scotland, which allows you to not only work in a thriving and pulsing international organisation but also to experience and live community life yourself. You have the chance to get deeply involved in the programmes and community life.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation will be covered by GEN and we will provide you with accommodation in the heart of the community. Food will be provided either through the Findhorn Foundation or covered through additional monthly food money. Travel costs are also covered in this programme. And you will receive a monthly individual support allowance.
Training during the activity
Throughout the year you will have the opportunity to participate in different Ecovillage Education sessions that will include a wide range of themes such as spiritual practise, group dynamics, conflict solutions and so on. There might be also the chance to participate in GEN’s Trainings and Workshops.
