Description
With the JUZE Bergheim, the municipality of Bergheim offers young people (12 to 18) a place where they can spend their free time. During our opening hours, they can use our wide range of games like billiards, darts, table football, Playstation 4, VR glasses and numerous board and card games. In addition, the JUZE Bergheim organises events and workshops like cooking afternoons, film evenings, evenings around the campfire, tournaments and graffiti workshops and much more. All this offer is non-binding and free of charge. The main task for you as an ESK volunteer is to look after young people. Furthermore, you will help plan projects and if you want, you are also welcome to implement your own ideas. In addition to mentoring and organising, we would be very grateful for your help in creating posters and posts on Instagram. As we can't employ you for all the given hours in our youth centre, you will work a few hours at the kindergarten in Bergheim.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
We will provide a local standard accommodation. The volunteer receives food money monthly. Local transport is provided.
Training during the activity
On-arrival training and Mid-term training, which is organized by the Austrian National Agency - with other volunteers in Austria.

Are you interested in working with children and young people? Would you like to gain new experience in the educational field? Moreover, you show commitment and willingness to cooperate, have a sense of humour, you are creative, your English is quite good and you would like to work in Austria for between 6 and 12 months?
