The Foyer Rural CEPAGE in a project incubator in a rural area focused on Culture, Economie, Heritage, Facilitation and Study Groups. It is an association, created in 1987, for local development in rural area, which offers a variety of cultural, social and training services to the population. Our organisation have 5 employees and several volunteers. The volunteers will be involved in the following activities :right access, participation into the activities of the social center, participation in supporting people to acquire digital skills , participation in the activities to improve the well living ans social cohesion, participation in the elaboration of European projects (ERASMUS) and in the management of Rural Citizens Labs 4 EU project (CERV program), video making, participation in entrepreneurship training, teaching activities for the local community. Supporting migrants. Participation in all the activities implemented by Foyer Rural CEPAGE.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Travel grant according to your location 275€ - Single room in fully equipped and shared apartment [with other volunteer(s)] located few minutes walks from the office. - 220 € food allowance by month. - 180€ as pocket money. We rent a flat of 90 m2 with three individual rooms, bathroom, one common kitchen, one common living room for our volunteers. It is located in the village just near the office. There is two bus/day to go/come back to Nice and there is also the train to go in the French Riviera. (one hour)
Training during the activity
Training, development of autonomy and evaluation activities, in average over the project 10h a week (including personal project). The participants will participate in the two compulsory trainings proposed by the French National Agency.
Participant profile
To take part in the activities that we propose, no diploma, certificate, competence are necessary. An attitude approaching the following points is a plus for the candidates. - Being interested and not hesitating to ask questions. - Expressing your point of view and feeling about our activities and practices. - Being motivated to develop, with our support, his own projects or activities and activities towards the local population. This volunteering is an exchange. Be able to start this volunteering as soon as possible.
