Description

Volunteering Teams is a solidarity activity that brings together a group of 5 participants from abroad and 5 local volunteers for 22 days. Activity will take place for approximately 30 hours per week. 10 volunteers will be involved in InterMediaKT activities during the whole period of time in the following topics: environmental care, language exchange, mental health care, collaboration with local organisations and activities carried out with the development of digital competences. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

- For volunteers coming from other countries, we will provide free accommodation with other volunteers and it will be fully furnished, with all the essentials. - Travel costs to Patras from the volunteer’s home country and back are covered based on following limits. (https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/resources-and-tools/distance-calculator) - Food allowance is provided. (5E/per day) - Pocket money of 6E/per day is provided.

Participant profile

Are you between 18-30 years old? Do you like teamwork? Do you have enthusiasm to learn? Do you want to leave your comfort zone and live a unique experience? Do you have a good command of the English language (B1/B2 level)? We are looking for 5 people from Patras, Greece and 5 people from program and partner countries. We don’t require any special skills, but we wish that the volunteers are interested in or have some experience with the topics of: intercultural communication, accessibility in learning, social innovation, mental health and active participation.
