Description
The project is divided into 2 different time slots, to give a flexible option for volunteers to attend. The first part will be in october, the second part in november. Participants of Earth Medicine VI will be divided into 2 Independent groups. Every group will co-operate with local organizations. The first group together with our well-beloved Sufi brother- and Sisterhood will get involved in practical aspects of ecological community and the topic of sustainable construction. Aswell as educational and fun activities with children in a local school. This group will spend most of their Time in Samandag. The second group will live in Ekinci village and will create daily activities together with Servas Peace School for the youth of Ekinci including sports, language lessons, yoga and else. Participant profile
Samandag / Sufi group: For people who want to experience what it means to live together in a self-determined community and care for each other. Accompanied by the never-ending music of the brothers and sisters. Able to work physical in construction or gardening to help local families. Ekinci group: For individuals who are interested in the social and hospitable village life in Hatay. Interest in working with children. Able to help in phyisical activities like olive harvest, or small construction work aswell.
