Beschreibung der Tätigkeit

EOS is a public benefit organization that help the disadvantaged persons to raise the quality of social life with actions of prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and social integration, through the management of social services, health, education and culture. EVS volunteers will gain an enriching experience for their personal and professional growth. The project represents an excellent opportunity for young volunteers to get to know new cultures, new languages ​​and gain new skills through non-formal education methods. Volunteers during their period of activity will have the opportunity to prove their abilities to work with disadvantaged children in a different cultural context and to bring their experience and culture within the activities. Volunteers will be involved in the implementation of planned activities and will have the opportunity to develop personal projects with the help and support of the team.

Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

The house is a building in the center, with kitchen, living room, toilet and washing room, and two bed rooms. The flat is shared by max. 5 EVS volunteers. Volunteers will need to care about it (cleaning, shopping, cooking…). Each month every volunteer has the right to receive 115€ for pocket money and 160€ for food money. Transport to the working place EOS, will be arranged by the staff of the organization, since the centre is located outside of the town, 10 min by car.

Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit

The volunteers will receive the access to Online Language Service platform to study independently Italian Language. Moreover the coordinating organization Link will offer to all an intensive Language Training Course to help the volunteers to integrate in local environment and activity work.

Teilnehmerprofil

Young person from from 18 to 30 years who want to help children who are facing a difficult moment in their life. Skills for animation and possibly some experience in the sector of manual work, sports, workshops or anything regarding child education. Basic English skills or Italian skills will help for the integration within the working team.
