Beschreibung der Tätigkeit
This is a 12-month project (March 2020- February 2021). During the project you will prepare and implement free time activities for children and youth from the socially disadvantaged environment, doing street work in different parts of Bratislava, support other projects of the organization, participate in the preparation of new projects, improve photo/camera/graphic skills and help Mládež ulice with events and activities. We will provide you an accommodation. You will live in a flat or a house with other foreign volunteers in Bratislava. Every month, you will get pocket money and money for food and transport according to the standard of living in the hosting country.Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
There are some mandatory trainings during this project: You will get orientation training right after arriving to Bratislava, On-arrival and Mid-term trainings, trainings to acquire new skills useful for your job and future life (time management, project management, soft skills training, etc ..) and supervisions. We are looking for someone ready to take up new challenges, who likes to work with children and youth. He /she should be enthusiastic about growing their personal and professional skills and prepared for unexpected experiences. Being a student or graduated in humanitarian discipline is an advantage. Required qualities include: flexibility, creativity, empathetic, selfreliant and responsible, communicative and capable of doing nonstereotype work. As this is mainly work with children and youth, the participant should be prepared to work in the afternoon and evening hours directly on the street.Wann
