Camp site volunteering in the Hírös Agóra - May 2022

Activity description

We intend to host 10 volunteers for short term: in the month of May in 2021 Renovation and maintenence activities in our kids and youth camp site, Participating in everyday volunteering team activities, Personal and skills development program for young volunteers through different activities.

Gisting, fæði og ferðatilhögun

The volunteers will live in the camp site (sharing rooms with an other volunteers of the same gender). Host Organisation will provide breakfast, lunch dinner the volunteers. Volunteers will receive 5 EUR/day volunteer allowance too.

Training during the activity

Host organisation will provide on-arrival training for the volunteers.

Participant profile

ONLY looking for motivated, hard-working, proactive 10 volunteers who are legally residing in mentioned countries; for maintenance work. Will work with full- and part time colleagues and long term ESC volunteers, will do different maintenance activities. English language activities, leisure activities, organizing different events, etc. in the organization. Mid twenties, moderate English skills (B1), good communication skills. Able to get on with others, who have different cultures. Advantage: experience in renovation and construction work.
