LAST CALL - Creative project in an independent cultural center

We are looking for 1 volunteer for an ESC-project: Feb 2020 - Sept 2020. The volunteer will be involved in the processes related to the everyday operation of an independent cultural venue. He/she helps with promotion on social media, make graphic design, production of the events, etc. There is also the opportunity to develop an own creative project, like a workshop, exhibition, blog, movie, etc. Besides this, the volunteer helps at the cafe, with the little garden in the backyard, do some small administration tasks and more. The volunteer we’re looking for has an interest in photo documentation of the events, graphic design, writing reports and articles for the A4 Zine and developing the blog, doing interviews with artists, helping with project management, etc. There’s also an opportunity to develop a personal (artistic) project. Настаняване, хранене и транспорт

Accommodation: The volunteer will stay at the volunteers flat in Bratislava, together with the 3 other volunteers. Money: - Pocket money – The volunteer will receive monthly pocket money - Food allowances - The volunteer will receive monthly food allowance Transport arrangements: The travelling costs are covered fully

Обучение по време на дейността

On-arrival and mid-term trainings during the project. Slovak classes once per week - 1 hour. Regular weekly meetings with the all A4 team members. Regular weekly meetings about particular topics and tasks with our experts (production, PR, management). Regular weekly meetings with ESC coordinator and mentors. Any other needed support for developing your own competences and your own projects.

The volunteer has an interest in art, culture and society. He/she wants to be part of a creative team and learn how an independent cultural organisation works. In this context, he/she is working in a team and bring in pro-active energy. The volunteer is flexible: the work schedule depends on the program of events. In short, the activities are very varied and there is a lot of space to discuss preferences of the volunteer. We are looking for volunteers with a creative approach who will be dedicated and actively look for new tasks and activities.
