Activity description
We as Kultur und Art Initiative e.V. have been organizing the BARRIER-FREE International Short Film Festival in Detmold. We believe that as there cannot be any borders in the minds of young people, there cannot be any borders in the physical world that surrounds them. In the shared experiences of making something together, youth can find shelter and aim as they feel like policy makers and culture definers. The young people that will volunteer with us for the preparation of the Barrier-Free International Film Festival Detmold and gain the necessary organizational skills. The project aims to bring youth from Turkey and Estonia in Germany to organize together and take ownership of the International Short Film Festival Detmold, while bringing awareness in the world, organizing workshops in the multimedia arts and critical analysis to promote inclusivity and diversity in the area through non-verbal forms of communication.Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The hosting organization is responsible for the food arrangements. The hosting organization will provide food to the volunteers. In case the volunteer needs to take public means for working reasons, those should be reimbursed by the hosting organisation. The volunteers will be accommodated either in a single or in a shared room, equipped with a bathroom, kitchen and a mini-living room and Internet connection.Training during the activity
The volunteers will take part in the mandatory trainings provided by the National Agency. There will be an introduction training at the beginning of the volunteering. Volunteers have the possibility to take part in courses and further training according to their interests.Participant profile
The volunteers have knowledge in regards to the work, are included in the work, have basic knowledge of the EU initiatives such as Youth Exchange and Erasmus, are informed of the importance of active participation. desirable qualifications: experience with VR/AR 360° videos and editing Experience in the area of LiveStreaming Good practice with graphic programs and video editing (preferably Adobe CC) Web Designer and or programmingActivity dates
