International Short Film Festival Detmold

The ISFF Detmold is dedicated to high-quality films by innovative filmmakers from all around the world. More than 4,000 short film submissions come from around 125 countries each year. The festival mostly focuses on non-commercial short films. From big premieres to the first work of young talents, everything is represented. In addition to the short films, there is numerous highlights of art and music during the festival. These events include interviews, podium discussions, exhibitions and parties. During the festival, workshops held where 100 participants learn to create their own short film. The 20th ISFF Detmold has the motto: “Films for All” and offers the possibility of barrier-free film viewing and listening. Selected film-blocks will be provided with audio descriptions for the blind and visually impaired, and subtitles for the hearing impaired, thus offering the possibility of inclusive participation.

Formação durante a atividade

The volunteers will take part in the mandatory trainings. There will be an introduction training at the beginning of the volunteering. Volunteers have the possibility to take part in courses and further training according to their interests.

Perfil do participante

The volunteers have knowledge in regards to the work, are included in the work, have basic knowledge of the EU initiatives such as Youth Exchange and Erasmus, are informed of the importance of active participation. Organisation of the international film festival, Support of the festival team, Responsibility for people and technology, Festival documentation. If possible; experience with video editing Experience in the area of LiveStreaming Finding Sponsors Media, film festival, Erasmus+ workshop organising, NGO work, creative industries.
