SPORTUNION is an Austrian national sports-for-all umbrella organization with more than 670.000 members in more than 4.400 sports clubs in Austria. Our mission is to support our members to provide access to and inclusion in sports and health-enhancing activities to members of society. We believe in conveying ethical values and tolerance through sports and cultural activities.Our headquarter is located in the city centre of Vienna. The administrative office of FICEP (Fédération Internationale Catholique d'Education Physique et sportive) is also located in the SPORTUNION headquarter in Vienna. We want to share our experiences and knowledge in the field of sports especially on national level. We are interested in new ideas which you may bring to our organization. Szkolenie w trakcie działania

You will have the opportunitiy to attend various internal and external meetings and trainings such as Welcome Days, Youthpass workshop, on-arrival and mid-term training provided by the Austrian National Agency, etc. As a volunteer at SPORTUNION you will get the opportunity: • to work in the organizational field of sports • to be part of our team and bring in your own ideas • to get an idea on how to plan education and training on national level • to participate in team meetings and events on local, national and international level • to learn and improve your English and German

Profil uczestnika

Applicants should be openminded, intersted in sports and motivated to work in the organizational field of sports. No previous skills or knowledge are required but basic knowledge of English and strong motivation to learn German beneficial! The volunteer will mostly work at the SPORTUNION headquarter and will be involved in the following fields and activities: • 60% administrative tasks (e.g. working with database, website,...) • 30% event management (e.g. planning and implementation in the field of youth sports) • 10% practical work (e.g. participation in trainings, sport events, etc.)
