Activity description

"Solidarity Art in Sokołowsko" project will take place in the town of Sokołowsko, in the beautiful Sudety mountains of Poland. The project will increase professional opportunities for young people from European countries, bringing new prospects for development within the framework of interdisciplinary arts. The project will show that international artistic activity carried out in a local context may become a real path for young people, including those who are not professional artists. We hope that for young people from Europe, participation in the EKS project will be an extremely important experience for their future careers, as it will enable them to develop in accordance with their values of freedom, freedom and their own potential.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will receive: - work 6/7 hours per day / including linguistic and job preparation, trainings/ - CIGNA insurance - accommodation (shared flat with other volunteers) - food allowance/130 Euro monthly/ - pocket money /120 Euro monthly/ - travel reimbursement. Training during the activity

Two 1-week trainings from National Agency: On-Arrival and Mid-term. Few trainings from the leading organisation: project goals, learning process, dissemination, personal development goals, monitoring. Few trainings from the hosting organisations: Events and festivals management Production of artistic exhibitions/performances/concerts Art archiving techniques Audience development and community art methods Cultural animation and education methods Promotion of art and culture Non-Violence Communication Possibility to take part in many European educational projects for youth workers.

Participant profile

motivated, eager to take initiative, open minded, flexible socially active, eager to work for local community, communicative and ready to face challenges that international cooperation brings interested in learning how to create original artistic and cultural events interested in learning about arts and new creative methods have artistic & creative skills (visual arts, video making, performing, sound and music, cinema or others) or willing to learn new ones passionate and interested in your hobbies that you want to share want to get more self-confidence and leadership skills
