Voluntspinning - Work in kindergarten in Ljubljana, SI

Descrizione dell'attività

During 7 months of your program you will work at Hans Christian Andersen kindergarten in Ljubljana! You will contribute to the common goals of the kindergarten s daily program and work with topics such as intercultural learning, European citizenship, non-formal education of children and youth, creative leisure, combating discrimination, prejudice and stereotypes. You will, together with local volunteers, work on program of the kindergarten by organizing various workshops and activities with groups of children. To provide the volunteer with experience and methods of working with preschool children, where (s)he will acquire new knowledge, skills and competencies for personal and professional development through various activities (learning to plan and implement activities).

Alloggio, vitto e trasporto

You will be accommodated in a shared house/flate with your own room covered by Zavod Voluntariat. You will also receive food and pocket money, all together 275 € per month.The travel expenses are covered up to 100%, depending on distance between your country and Slovenia. Insurance is also covered by the 'ESC' insurance CIGNA.

Formazione durante l'attività

You will have to attend on-arrival training and mid-term meeting organised by our National Agency - MOVIT. Besides that, you will be offered an opportunity to join international workcamp organized in Slovenia within SCI network, which we are a member of.
