Activity description

Aim of our organization is to promote the idea of ​​volunteering and civic activity for the benefit of organizations, institutions and people as well as comprehensive support for people and institutions interested such activity. We are the only organization of this kind in Gdańsk and the only one supporting volunteering in the regional area. We are looking for 1 motivated person TO SUPPORT our organization in daily activities. Although we are not EUROPEAN VOLUNTEER CAPITAL 2022 anymore we keep up the good work! Therefore you can work in the field of: Kindegarten and SCHOOL VOLUNTEERING, GDANSK VOLUNTEER WEEK, charity events, international projects, ESC team volunteering projects as well as PROMOTING our initiatives and DEVELOPMENT of our website and SOCIAL MEDIA (inlc. graphic design, video editing, photography). We will tailor your tasks to your abilities and you can bring your own ideas, projects and activities.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will live together with other 2 volunteers in a 2-room apartment located in a walking distance from our office. The flat is fully equipped. You will receive a monthly city card to travel around the city. We will provide You with the pocket money, food allowance and travel to/from Gdańsk. Insurance is also covered by us. Our office is located in the city centre with good public transportation connections. Please notice: duration of the project is 6 months. Training during the activity

The project is unique learning experience. During the project you will take part in 2 training sessions: 1. ON ARRIVAL - to find out more about volunteering in Poland and to meet other volunteers 2. MID TERM - to evaluate your achievements during your stay in Poland. Besides, during the project You will get: - a task-support mentor who will help You with task-related issues - a personal mentor who will support You during Your stay in Poland. - want to learn polish? We will support you in learning language

Participant profile

Our projects are generally open to young people who want to become volunteers in the 18-30 age range. Previous work experience and qualifications (especially in kids animation) may be useful but not necessary. We are looking for dynamic, creative, sociable, responsible and patient people. You should also be keen to work with different target groups especially youth. You do not need to have any experience abroad. Participants MUST be interested in working in VOLUNTARY FIELD. We offer wide range of activities which are based on various competences and give the opportunity for personal grow.
