Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation: shared house in Reykjavík, walking distance from the office/city centre. While in camps in the countryside, accommodation is provided by local hosts; facilities vary according to the accommodation available, but SEEDS always ensures good-quality and safe accommodation to its volunteers. Food is provided by SEEDS, and volunteers help organise the weekly shopping. A plant-based diet is followed during SEEDS'S camps. Transportation costs to Iceland and back are covered by the project's budget up to Erasmus+ limits for a certain country.

Training during the activity

SEEDS organises pre-departure (online) and on-arrival (in-person) orientation training to provide theoretical and practical knowledge. Volunteers receive support from SEEDS' volunteer coordinator and peers while learning about SEEDS’ activities and building confidence within a comfortable environment.
