Activity description

Participating to our project at Rezé City Hall, you will have the possibility to choose between four options : 1. Inclusion of young people: help young people towards European and international mobility and socio-professional integration. Helping to write CVs and cover letters in English, preparing interviews and conversation workshops in English. 2. Sustainable development: participation, design and implementation of activities and exhibitions, environmental awareness through workshops, in favor of the protection of ecological balance and for the promotion of responsible consumption 3. Youth work : implementation and participation to educational and leisure activities with French children and teenagers 4. Digital mediation, with a focus on Roma population The volunteer should preferably be able to be flexible among the four options.

Konaklama, yemek ve yol ayarlamaları

Accommodation and transportation will be provided by the City Hall. Volunteers will be accommodated in fully equipped flats : one flat shared by 3 volunteers and one individual flat. A transport card will be provided for travel within the Nantes metropolitan area. Pocket money and food costs will also be covered (regular organized grocery sessions at the supermarket).

Training during the activity

Volunteers will attend French classes during the first months of their mission as we expect them to become quickly fluent. Professionals will accompany them to carry out their tasks and will integrate them into the team and the projects of the structure.

Participant profile

We are looking for motivated participants to get involved in a solidarity project. We do not require volunteers to know French, but they should be able to communicate in English and to be committed to learn French through our intensive course. We also give priority to young people who want to get involved in projects related to youth, environmental public policies, the use of digital tools, and have a vocation towards education and social contact.
