3 month project on a family farm in a small village Lovinac in rural mountain region of Croatia. It is a permacultural farm with a big garden, small greenhouse, chickens, ducks, donkeys and bees. No WIFI. Working tasks depend on the season / time of the year, gardening, mulching, planting, preparing wood, cutting wood, taking care of the animals, making pickles, jams, syrups ... Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

Accommodation is rented house near the farm, simple house with basic conditions, heating is on wood, so you need to make fire and keep fire during cold parts of the year. You will share a room with another volunteer. Vegetarian food is provided. Travel cost refund is in the amount of max 180 eur if your location is within 100-499 km from Lovinac and 275 eur if your location is within 500-1999 km from Lovinac by the Erasmus+ distance calculator: https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/resources/distance-calculator_en Travel costs refunded only if volunteer stays for full 3 months.

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

You will learn by doing, learn from experience through working on the farm. Books and educational materials about permaculture and organic farming can be used. You will take part in on-arrival training for volunteers organized by the Croatian National agency.

Age 18 -30, can stay during the whole 3 months of the project. This project is for your if: You are excited by nature, capable of handling all its positive sides as well as challenges. You are a person that likes nature and wants to learn and share a scope of skills. You are diligent, on time, pro-active, patient, brave, adaptable, willing to learn and likes simple living, and before all you are interested to learn about Permaculture, including self sustainability, ecology, preservation of environment and species.
