Beskrivning av verksamheten

The main objective we set ourselves is to be an engine of social change to contribute to an open and participatory European citizenship that generates greater social justice and is more respectful of dignity and human rights. The common denominator of all our actions is that we work for and for people so our objectives fit perfectly with those of the European Solidarity Corps. The main work of the social entity is to work with people at risk of social exclusion (foreigners, inmates, homeless people, etc.), so volunteers will live in their day to day with this population, which will undoubtedly increase their respect and understand the different types of life or situations of exclusion. Advise on labor inclusion and support with ICTs: it provides the opportunity to share experiences with other young people who come to Arrabal in search of employment, training and learning and improvement of technological skills.

Logi, mat och transporter

Volunteers get a private room in a shared fully equipped apartment with three rooms and two bathrooms (1 apartment with 2 volunteers) - Volunteers also get money for food, a bus ticket for public transportation in Cádiz and volunteers will have a bicycle, private health insurance and European Solidarity Corps and pocket money.

Utbildning under verksamheten

Pre-arrival training by the sending organisation - On arrival training and mid-term training organised by Spanish National Agency. Spanish language course (OLS) and face to face Spanish Course. Others trainings during the opportunity.

Deltagarens profil

URGENT: We are looking for an open-minded, creative and motivated person who is passionate about design, taking corporate style photos and creating videos. The volunteer will prepare posters and flyers for different activities of the association. The volunteer will also collaborate with other organizations in social communication advertising. The volunteer will also organize different activities related to social transformation and dynamization. Other tasks: To be able to communicate in English (Spanish language will be a plus)
