Youth Centres Up 2 - short-term project in Romania

Become a changemaker! Youth Centres Up 2 is a short-term European Solidarity Corps project about social inclusion, human rights, solidarity, about YOU working shoulder to shoulder with FITT’s team and create a space for youth to develop in the neighbourhoods of Timisoara! Our city will be the European Capital of Culture in 2023 and we need spaces where young people can express and develop freely. We are now looking for volunteers with the desire to develop their skills and turn 10 old industrial buildings into youth centers. We will have 10 teams of volunteers in a row, one for each 30 days. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

You don’t have to worry about: • Travel expenses from your home country to Romania – we will cover transport according to project regulation (same as Erasmus+ and ESC distance band); • Accommodation – will be provided by us in rooms for 2/3 persons. • Food – you will receive 5 euros/day as food allowance; • Pocket money – yep, you will receive 3 euros/day as pocket money;

Formation pendant l’activité

Teambuilding and orientation training; Workshops on developing working skills, community engagement workshop, evaluation meeting.

Profil du participant

The volunteers we are looking for are... •. Between 18 and 30 years old; • Fluent in English; • Happy to work with youth; • Having residence in one of eligible countries; • Brave enough to move for 30 days in another country
