Activity description

InformaGiovani runs activities of information, training, seminars on EU programmes, social volunteering and international cooperation. Also IG implements activities involving young people and youth workers. Volunteers will get to know EURODESK Network and support INFODESK activities - support the preparation and the implementation of national and international activities like training course, youth exchanges, pre-departure trainings for young people, (including selection of participants/volunteers, pre-departure support, management of volunteers’ database, supporting logistics, etc.) - co-lead international youth projects in summer - support administrative tasks and working in the office (paper work) - create workshops on specific topics and implement them during summer projects - promoting ESC volunteering through InformaGiovani blog/social media . Volunteers will also develop and implement a personal project/activity.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteer will be hosted in double-room shared with another volunteer. Flat is equipped with all needed (water, electricity, heating, furniture). Free wi-fi is available. Accommodation is located not far from the city centre, and well connected with public transportation. Training during the activity

On arrival training and Mid-Term Evaluation organised by Italian National Agency (online training) + Online Linguistic Support (Italian language)

Participant profile

We are looking for volunteers with strong motivation in discovering youth work and NGO-ordinary life, covering different tasks from promotion to implementation, and from leading groups to management of activities. Aged 21-30 and previous experiences in volunteering strong interest in the youth sector, in discovering NGO-life, in promoting youth participation and volunteerism, be interested and motivated to use non formal education methods, be flexible and able to adapt, proactive, ability for team working and carry on tasks individually, sensitivity in social inclusion.
