We are looking for a motivated VOLUNTEER in the field of street soccer for tolerance! The project implies the integration of the volunteer in the team of Street Soccer by supporting the co-workers in their daily work with youth. By learning to use sport as an educational tool, the volunteer will have the possibility to assist, take part, engage in and support the goals of the programmes “Street Soccer for Tolerance” and "Integration through Sport“. Both aim at the integration of migrants into the community through sport. Possible fields of activity are: - assist with the organisation and implementation of sport tournaments and other events - learn about the educational method „Street Soccer for Tolerance“ - support the communication with foreign partner organisations taking part in summer youth camps - look after young people during youth exchanges - get acquainted with sports structures in Germany - support the team trough Social Media activities (content creation).

Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

Accommodation: The volunteer will live in one of our 4 accommodations for the ESC volunteers in Potsdam. Each volunteer has his/her own room. All necessary living arrangements for the whole duration of the project have been done. Food: A monthly food allowance of 288,00 € will be provided via bank transfer. Pocket money: 180,00 € will be provided via bank transfer. Local Transport: A monthly travel card to use public transport within the area of Brandenburg/Berlin federal states will be made available to the volunteer. The volunteer will also receive a bike.

Formação durante a atividade

Our organization offers the volunteer the possibility to take part in a language course, according to their current level of German. All participants must participate in two mandatory ESC seminars during their project: On-Arrival and Mid-Term Training. These are opportunities to meet volunteers from other countries, gain understanding of the EU values and reflect on the ongoing project. Interested in youth work; interested in sports events and projects; interested in working with children and young people; interested in the Street Soccer for Tolerance concept and implementation; committed and creative in the implementation of activity area projects; sociable, friendly, patient, open-minded; willing to learn new skills; willing to bring in creativity and innovative spirit; interested in marketing and public relations (social media reports, photography, etc.); curious and interested in German culture and language; ready to commit in some weekends (Summer season).
