„Sharing Cultural Heritage and Knowledge” - KNOLTURE, ref. no. 2021-2-RO01-ESC51-VTJ-000045008 is an European Solidarity Project developed by the National History Museum of Romania in 2022. In this project will be carried out 3 main activities, independently, as follows: 1) Team activity, 4 weeks, July 2022, for 10 EU citizens/ residents + 10 Romanians; 2) Team activity, 4 weeks, September 2022, for 10 EU citizens/ residents + 10 Romanians; 3) Individual volunteering stage, 6 months, July-December 2022, for 2 EU citizens/ residents + 2 Romanians. The goal is to train 44 volunteers (22 from other EU countries, 22 Romanian) so they can further implement along with their competence methods used to share and understand other cultures, by such raising awareness of solidarity, benefits of non-formal education and development of a multicultural framework. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Participants will receive during the volunteering stage a lump sum of 150 € /month for food and 90 € as pocket money, Participants will have to share a room with another volunteer. The volunteers will be given 100% the travel cost to and from Bucharest, including the fees regarding, visas, accommodation, in accordance with Erasmus+ calculator. The organization will provide monthly tickets/passes for public transportation and will inform the participants of the time tables of these means, internet and phone. Fees: The ESC program is free of charge.

Training during the activity

1. Training on protection and safety; 2. Training on non-formal education techniques and tools; 3. Training on digital marketing/promotion in a museum context; 4. Training on NHMR heritage and activities; 5. Linguistic training (RO, EN).

Participant profile

Basic qualifications: Age between 18-30 years old; Minimum knowledge of English (recommended); Citizen or resident of a country member of the European Union; Interested and motivated in development of their own skills; Patient, responsible, creative and open-minded; These factors mean: Our candidates have completed general education level and want to develop their abilities concerning education through cultural projects; Embracing intercultural learning and developing attitudes understanding tolerance and understanding towards social inclusion, building cohesion.
