Participating in team of 12 for 3 weeks in july 2022

Activity description

From 4-25 july 2022 we invite in total 12 young volunteers from all EU member states( including the Netherlands) to attend a special 3 weeks event at Aarde-Werk de Stegge, permaculture farm in the Netherlands. Week 1: This week is all about personal development and teamwork. Week 2: This week is dedicated to permaculture, with the group working on land based on the design principles of permaculture. Week 3: This week is all about a healthy lifestyle and nutrition. Specific attention is paid to everything that grows and blooms on the land at Aarde-Werk de Stegge.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will be accomodated in our educational centre where 2 bedrooms are available for 5 and 3 persons. Additionally, we will raise 2 tents for 2 persons each. Organic food (vegetarian/vegan) is provided on the location. You cook together as a group. Public transport is available until Winterswijk railwaystation. There you can be picked up for transport to the farm. We ask you to arrive on the 4th of july before 17.00 t the railwaystation of Winterswijk. There is a travelbudget available of € 275,-. The 4th and 24th of july are travelling-days.

Training during the activity

Training will be part of the experience with different teachers and trainers, on teamwork, permaculture, cooking and healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

Participant profile

We invite you strongly to apply if: - you are in a good physical condition ( we do a lot of outside work) - you like to learn and work in a team - you can deal with simple and low-profile conditions of accommodation (sleeping in a shared room) - you are up to a new experience in your life, close to nature. 11 of 12 places are filled with candidates form 8 different countries. We only need another candidate from the Netherlands.
