Hankkeen kuvaus

The volunteering takes place at the office of the Fédération des œuvres laïques du Rhône et de la Métropole de Lyon based in Lyon 3 Our federal projet is based on three approachs : - Promoting the values of the mouvement of la Ligue de l'enseignement : citizenship, solidarity and secularism. - Developping community projects and volunteering for all - Reinforcing educational projects : lifelong learning, complementarity with public schools. With our various projects, we work with various publics (children, young people, adults) As a volunteer, your taks will be : - Organising worshops and activities for young volunteers (including refugees) about interculturality and citizenship - Promoting european mobility and organising intercultual activities for young people - Supporting to manage the communication channels of the organisation and reporting all the activities through written forms, photos, videos etc. - Developping an individual project bases on personal interest

Majoitus, ateriat ja kuljetukset

The volunteer will live in a shared appartment with others young people in a residence (in Oullins closed to Lyon). The volunteer will have an individual room and access to a kitchen (with a food allowance). The residence is near a metro station. A public transportation card or an membership card for the city bike (Vélov’) will be provided. According to the programme, a small allowance is provided for personnal expenses.

Koulutus hankkeen aikana

The volunteer will have access to linguistic support (online platform and French class depending on needs and avaibilities) and to the trainings organised by the National Agency. The volunteer will be able to attend to all the meetings, trainings and work groups organised by the host organisation. The volunteer will have a tutor.

Osallistujan profiili

We need a motivated volunteer and willing to work and share with young people from different backgrounds. A basic level of French (or English) is required to be able to communicate with the staff, the other volunteers and the target groups. Any skill related to photography, graphic design, video making, and experience in working with young people are appreciated.
