Beschreibung der Tätigkeit

The MJC is a nonprofit organization where we promote a non formal education. Our main goal is the development of active citizenship for young people and adults through the implementation of social and cultural activities, including entering the fields of leisure, sports, education and prevention. Your mission will be : Animate sociolinguistics workshops and training - Awareness of international mobility. Your main missions, with the help of your tutor, are to prepare, organize and set up classes and sociolinguistics workshops. Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for students. Participate in the life of the structure (events, etc.) Informe and propose cultural or sports trips in order to facilitate social mobility and meeting. Organize conversation classes in English and other languages. You will work about 35 hours per week, the activities are very varied and you will get the support of the staff. During your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to make your own project.

Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

Our Organization is located in Elbeuf (Normandy). The closest big city is Rouen (30min by car, bus or train) and Paris (2h by train or car). The team is composed of 7 youth leaders. You will stay in an apartment fully furnished (wifi, tv, washing machine, dishwasher, dryer...) and you will share it with other volunteers. You'll have your own bedroom with a sharing bathroom and kitchen. This apartment is located in the city center, close to many stores, cinema, bus and train station. Individual support: 180€ per month for pocket money and 7€ /day for the food (210 for 30 days).

Teilnehmerprofil

You have betwin 18 - 30 years old and you have a good written/spoken French and love to be in contact with people from abroad. Creative and social skills and a mindset of initiative will get you through! You are willing to live with other roommates and share your experiment with others. This is the place you have to be for the nexts months ! We only take in consideration the application made through the plateform.
