Activity description

VSC 22 - Volunteering for Sustainable Communities aims to bring together six volunteers from different communities and with their help to promote volunteering and non-formal education as tools to build stronger and sustainable communities in rural areas from North of Romania.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be accommodate in apartments located in Baia Mare. They will receive monthly allowances for food and volunteering allowances according with the rules of the programme. Local transportation will be arranged by the organisation. Costs for the international transportation from home town to Romania, Baia Mare are going to be reimbursed according with the rules of the programme.

Training during the activity

Trainings provided by Greentin: introductory on arrival training, personal development workshops, teambuilding activities. Trainings provided by Romanian National Agency: on arrival training, mid-term training

Participant profile

The potential candidate should be able to communicate in English and to be interested in working in educational field or related areas.
