International Youth Leader for the Naturefriends Movement

Every year German Young Naturefriends hosts one European Solidarity Corps volunteer to get involved in our Berlin office. As a volunteer in our office, you will have various experiences in the non-governmental organization field by focusing on the process of project management, policy-making and social betterment. Your main task will be to support one of our project officers in his/her/their project. You will participate in various workshops and events to represent us across Germany. Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

During your volunteering here, you will always be guided by our team. Your voluntary program and tasks will be determined by our contact person. You’ll have weekly follow-up meetings. Moreover, German Young Naturefriends will be responsible for covering both practical and logistical aspects of your participation such as accommodation, language course, insurance and travel expenses.

Formation pendant l’activité

During your year in Berlin you will expand your knowledge of international youth work and the European Solidarity Corps. You will help us to attract young participants to our international activities and help them to become active within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps. Through your work the exchange between committed young people from different countries within the network of the International Young Naturefriends will be intensified.

Profil du participant

You are interested in youth work and international cooperation. You are interested in supporting our international cooperation with a team of full-time and volunteer workers. You like team work, intercultural exchange and climate policy engagement. German is the working language in our office and on our youth events. So you should be ready to communicate with the team, our regional offices and with young people. As we also cooperate with french speaking countries we would be very happy if you speak some French as well.
