Volunteering in English Outdoor Preschool

Activity description

We are looking for volunteers acting as assistants in our English Outdoor Prechools and other activities we run for preschool and yearly school age kids (unique concept described in details at websites www.all4kids.fun). We are focused on international and intercultural dimension of our organization in long-term, our team is international and consists from members of different backgrounds. Any other member from another country enriches the activities of the organization, bringing new activities and ideas to the preschool community. For the school year 2022/23 we have 3 spots for volunteers, acting as assistants in our 2 preschools Vyšehrad Monsters and Libeň Monsters and also in our afternoon English Club for school-aged kids.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation will be arranged on mutual agreement between organization and volunteer, sharing room or flat in the city of Prague. Meals will be provided during the days spend in preschool (snack, lunch, snack), volunteer will also receive monthly ammount as food allowance, together with the pocket money. The travel will arranged and paid by the organization on mutual agreement about the concrete travel dates and means. The public transportation card in Prague will be provided.

Training during the activity

The volunteer will be monitored and supported by professional teachers with long-term experience, thus the whole volunteering period will be an opportunity to gain experience in the field of preschool education. Any other trainings of volunteer's interest will be supported.

Participant profile

Volunteers should have an interest in working with preschool kids and good level of English as main language of program and communication with kids, parents and colleagues. Besides that, the talent and enthusiasm to do such activity is the only criteria. The volunteers may also act as individual assistants for kids with special needs, so experience with such assistance would be helpful.
