Long-term ESC in Fryshuset Helsingborg, Sweden

Opis działania

Fryshuset in Helsingborg is looking for passionate volunteers to engage with young people through our after-school program, dance classes, graffiti, podcast, music or social media. Together with staff you will plan, run and evaluate our programs for youth in ages 12-19. You will take part in planning and executing activities, games, happenings and inspirational events. You will on a day-to-day basis engage with youth who come to Fryshuset and be an integral part of responding to their needs and interests. As a volunteer you will be a part of following our annual plans which shift during special events, holidays and school related projects. We are a flexible organization and therefore adjust to current events and the needs of the youth we serve. As a volunteer you need to be able to shift from operative work with groups of young people to administrative tasks.

Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport

All costs are covered by the European Solidarity Corps program. Accommodation will be found by Fryshuset. Food and pocket money we will transfer to volunteers` bank accounts monthly.

Szkolenie w trakcie działania

You will get 2 trainings during your volunteering, once you arrive, the Swedish National Agency will organize on-arrival and mid-term training. Also, there will be a Swedish course for the volunteers.

Profil uczestnika

We are looking for volunteers who have a passion in dance, photo, filmmaking, podcasting, graffiti, music, or physical activities. 22 years old or above English speaking on a high school level. A day as a volunteer with us at Fryshuset will very and you need to be flexible. Tasks will include: - Culture activities for youth in dance, graffiti, podcast and music. - Fryschillet, 1-2 times/week - After School, support homework 2-3 times/week - Social Media content - Workshops and events, evenings and weekends. - Administration and teambuilding, Fryshuset.
