ESC 8 months in Palermo_Visibility and communication activities

Beskrivning av verksamheten

8 months ESC project, addressed to young people coming from different countries. The activities will take place in our Visibility & Communication office. The ESC VOLUNTEER will work alongside with a tutor and together they will plan a training programme foreseeing: - Multimedia and cross.media production: raster and vector graphics for logotypes, visuals and other paper or digital products, video shooting and video editing; - Editorial production and desktop publishing: projecting and designing brochures, magazines and books in digital and hard copies; - Web communication: analyzing, planning and managing communication campaigns on different platforms and social media, institutional and project websites along with email marketing. We are looking for volunteers to start the project from November 2022 to June 2023.

Logi, mat och transporter

CESIE will provide accommodation for all the ESC volunteers. They will be hosted in an apartment located in a city center in Palermo and they will share the room with another volunteer of the same gender. The costs of meals are covered by CESIE.

Utbildning under verksamheten

Upon their arrival, each volunteer will take part in an on-arrival training provided by CESIE in Palermo. Volunteers participating in the long-term volunteering service will take part in an on-arrival training and mid-term evaluation provided by Italian National Agency. Moreover, volunteers will also have the opportunities to participate in a mid-term evaluation with CESIE. They will also have the opportunity to attend an online linguistic course and in case 40 hours of optional Italian language course in Palermo at the Italian language institute.

Deltagarens profil

18 -30 years old - a basic level of English, strong motivation and interest to work in a team with the different target groups (children, migrants, disable adults etc..); basic experiences or motivation in working with minors and young people; availability for the whole period; knowledge of Italian preferred (level B1). The ideal candidate is a young student or graduate in: - Communication sciences; - Design; - Academy of Fine Arts; - Architecture; - Similar study programmes.
