EU.Motion 20.23 - Audiovisual Assistant

Activity description

EU.Motion 20.23 is a project from Associação Mais Cidadania, that aims to address two specific problems: 1) The low participation rates of young people in decision-making processes; 2) And, cultural integration and social exclusion. For that, the project will develop activities connected with Citizenship, Participation, and Cultural Diversity. Having that in mind, we are looking for 1 person for 10 months to join our office team and work in the field of audiovisual and multimedia, be part of the day-by-day of Organization, and actively be part of all activities and dimensions of AMC’s work. This person will be responsible for creating and producing educational and pedagogical content for non-formal sessions about topics such as mobility, youth participation, human rights, citizenship, and intercultural dialogue for youngsters; use video and photography to collect evidences of the local activities and sessions in schools; among other tasks. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

As established by the European Solidarity Corps, all volunteers have the right to accommodation, pocket money and food allowance, as well transportation. Therefore, the Association will provide accommodation to the person chosen for the project in a house/apartment shared with other volunteers/interns/students. At the beginning of each month, the volunteer will receive the pocket money in cash and, 5 to 7 days later, the food allowance. Besides this, will acquire too, a monthly pass allowing him/her to use all the public means of transportation (metro, elevator, tramway and bus).

Training during the activity

The volunteer will take part into all activities foreseen in the Volunteering Training and Evaluation Cycle in the Hosting Country and, in the Volunteering meetings proposed by the Sending Organisation and/or National Agencies.

Participant profile

The volunteer should be someone: - Creative, flexible, organized, and with the ability to quickly adapt; - That has some experience developing audiovisual content (video, photography, audio, etc) or, at least, has the interest to learn about this areas; - Interested in living and working in a multicultural and cooperative environment; - Able to communicate and work in English; - Available to learn about the work developed by AMC under the framework of Non-Profit Organizations; - Willing to share personal interests, skills, and values with other youngsters - online and offline.
