Activity description

Within the scope of our approved project 2021-2-TR0l-ESCSl-VTJ-000044566, Highly Motivated Volunteers are kindly invited to short and long-term volunteering services starting from July or August 2022. In this frame, our association is inviting you to a volunteering team for two months or individual volunteering for 10 months in Ankara / Turkey. In this volunteering opportunity, the participants from EU countries and Erasmus+ program countries are eligible between 18-30. In this frame travel costs and if needed visa costs will be reimbursed. Also; accommodation, volunteer allowance, and food money will be provided for each month. In the frame of our project, the activities are targeted 2030 European Union Youth targets. So, the volunteer will be enrolled on activities related to green, digitalization and inclusion topics. For this project, we already completed it for the volunteering team. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

S&G provides accommodation in Volunteer houses that it has. Our Volunteer houses are located in the city centre and so close to our offices. In these houses, each room is shared by two or three volunteers. All furniture and the kitchen are also commonly shared. For food, we provide food money to our volunteers each month besides the volunteer allowance. Transport arrangements: S&G provides mentorship according to Erasmus+ rules to the volunteers before they arrive.

Training during the activity

Within the scope of this project, we have activities on Green, Digitalization and Inclusivity. On green, there will be activities on garbage collection, planting saplings and CSR. Within the scope of digitalization, we will have activities such as vlogging, database creation, podcasting and online magazine creation. On the subject of inclusion, English speaking club, language course for local participants, documentary sessions and sports activities will be organized. In addition to these, workshops will be prepared within the scope of each subject.

Participant profile

We would like to see volunteers who are highly motivated, open to getting to know a new culture, living in a shared home, and who are aware of the fact that this project is a non-formal education program, as participants in our project.
