VEB2023 - The Opening

Veszprém-Balaton 2023 holds the Opening Ceremony of the title year on the 21st of January, 2023. This is the greatest event during the whole program. Hundreds of participants and organizers will work on it. Dozens of events, concerts, and programs will be happening this time, starting even from the previous days of the official ceremony. Without the help of the volunteers, this event wouldn’t be possible to be carried out. Besides the local helpers, we are going to host a group of 20 volunteers from many different countries. After getting to know each other within the group the volunteers will discover the town, and the program itself. The opening ceremony will take place in several values in Veszprém. The group will help the guests and the organizers to have a wonderful experience in the European Capital of Culture 2023.

Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

The volunteers will stay in a rented house where they will be separated by gender. The host organization provides food allowance and pocket money to the volunteers. The trip between the accommodation and the venues of the tasks is also covered.

Perfil do participante

The ideal participant is interested in culture and community development. Being open-minded and proactive is an advantage. Furthermore, he/she is willing to engage during the whole duration of the volunteering and legally resides in one of the above-mentioned countries. www.helloragyogok.hu/en
