Description de l’activité

You will learn direct ways to provide for the needs of your body, mind and soul. The learning experience includes knowing how to grow your own food, arrange your own shelter, make your own clothes and household paraphernalia and produce your own energy. It also includes discovering your individual ways to learn, your personal character strengths and the character of your unique spiritual self. You will learn the ancient art of mantra meditation, and learn from the Vedic knowledge about reincarnation and the purpose of existence.

Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport

You will be sharing living space with other volunteers, staying in double or single room facilities. The location has shared bathrooms, hot water and WiFi. Vegan/vegetarian breakfast and lunch are served and taken together, while an evening meal is available when you want in the evening. Around five minutes minutes walk from the farm there are several buses free of charge on weekdays to the nearest town (2-3 connections in the weekends), from where you can easily travel cities around, like Malmö, Lund, Copenhagen and Ystad.

Some examples of available learning opportunities, workshops and seminars: • Handicrafts, like wood, metal, fibres, handloom, spinning, pottery. • Vegan/vegetarian cooking (mostly Indian, Italian) • Planning and organisation • Caring for cows and horses • Starting your own business (business plan, bookkeeping, marketing, etc) • Growing your own food • Permaculture • Waste management • Energy production and management • Spiritual practices and philosophy• Meditation and kirtan • Excursions to interesting places (for example "Learn organic farming and self-sustainability from our forefathers")

Profil du participant

You are a curious and openminded team player who would like to volunteer together with other young adults. You are punctual and responsible, like to rise in the morning to care for the animals, grow your own food and serve the community. You are also a tidy person, who likes cleanliness and show solidarity with the planet and its inhabitants. Since the way we view ourselves and the world affects our behaviour, you see the need for improving consciousness and values. You have no problems with abstaining from meat, fish, eggs, alcohol, smoking or other intoxication at the premises.
