Activity description

This activity aims to provide participants with professional experience in the social work sector. The goal is to give young people a better understanding of this field and the challenges that social workers face every day. By participating in this activity, young people will learn about the values of solidarity and respect for human dignity, and they will have the opportunity to understand the true meaning of these values. The aim is to expose participants to the realities of social work and to show them that it is a full-time job that brings real value to society. The hope is that by participating in this activity, young people will be inspired to get involved in the social cause and will be able to share the values they have learned with their own communities when they return home. Daily routine: assisting administrative tasks, conducting research and writtings projects, project meetings, organizing local events, attending and/or organizing trainings, workshops, social networks

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation is provided with all living standard and near the office in the city of Oiartzun (Guipúzcoa). Food allowance: 150€/month Individual Support: 150€/month Transport all covered for activitiies/work purpuses.

Participant profile

NGO is looking for 1 volunteer who is passionate about making a difference in her community and who are willing to commit her time and energy to the organization's mission. The ideal volunteer will be reliable, responsible, and able to work well in a team. Experience/skiils on social media, projects writting, video editing. Proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus). Knowledge of a specific issue or subject area related to the organization's mission. Experience in event planning or fundraising. Ability to work with diverse groups of people, commitment, empathy, initiative, adaptability...
