The logistics will be according to ESC rules, that means: - accommodation provided by NUR in apartment with single rooms; - monthly food money and pocket money; - public transportation card; - health insurance; Volunteers will share an apartment with local students or other volunteers, and be encouraged to share the responsibilities connected to independent and collaborative living arrangements, meaning that we prefer to offer our volunteers autonomous food and house management. Bicycles are available as a bus alternative.Training during the activity
Volunteers will be trained in all the media, computer and linguistic needs related to the project. We can provide a video making and editing training and our staff will deliver all the needed IT training. All our volunteers are intensively trained to improve their knowledge of Italian and at the end of their experience can enroll in the local exams to get the legally valid certification of knowledge of Italian. We also encourage strongly self paced learning allowing for a number of weekly hours to be spent in personal learning plans.Participant profile
We are looking for young and motivated volunteers. No special requirements are mandatory but we look for youth possibly in the age range 18-25 to be of same age of our local young beneficiaries. We value people with a strong motivation to discover another culture and themselves, who are proactive and curious. We are not searching for extremely skilled volunteers with few things left to learn about themselves, but more for young "explorers" willing to take part in a learning path with us. Of course we could use some skills and any youth work, digital or creativity skills are very much welcomed.Activity dates
