Activity description
This ESC project is part of a bigger project: a grouping of 5 organizations located in Toulouse (Ville de Toulouse, Samba Résille, Topophone, CMAR, and PLMSO). These organisations are working together to give opportunities to young Europeans to have an unique experience of volunteering. Topophone is a Pole of Cultural Actions developing a program of access to music within the territories in difficulty of the Occitania region. The volunteer will be engaged in the following activities: - Participating in the organization of Topophone's educational events – such as the Festival Élèves en Scène!: including a wide range of tasks from installing the stage, welcoming the audience, animating a quiz targeted at the children, meeting the artists,etc - Observing musical interventions in the framework of the Musical Creation or the Young Musician programs: going to classes with the musicians, helping them monitor the pupils The missions can be discussed and adapted to the volunteer's profile.Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Topophone takes care of the logistical aspects including accommodation, local transportation, food and pocket money. The volunteer is going to be hosted in a flat fully equipped, located near public transports.Training during the activity
Regular collective and individual meetings are organized at Topophone. The whole team is reunited every other week on Monday morning and the volunteer will meet with their tutor once a week.Participant profile
- Looking for a volunteer between 18 and 30 years old - Basic knowledge of French (A2) - Interest for music and culture - Previous experience in working with youngsters appreciated - Able to work in a team - Relational and communication skills - Flexible and proactiveActivity dates
