ART SUMMER 2023

Activity description

The short time project "ART SUMMER" is the perfect opportunity for people who want to make the most of their summer holidays! If you are 18-30 years old, from Poland or the EU, join us for a summer artistic adventure! The theatre festival team is waiting for you! In 59 days you can become part of a team full of creative, young people and make new friends. Each person brings new value to our team and teaches others their skills. You will work with people from Poland and abroad, so you will develop your language skills. Additionally, you will learn about working in culture, working with artists (actors, musicians, performers) from behind the scenes and you will acquire new skills. If festival life is not alien to you - this is the offer for you! If you want to create coffee corner or provide festival's bake trip or make animation in oper air - don't wait and apply now! One of the main tasks we have for you is to help organise the oper air theatre festival.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

We are part of the European Solidarity Corps, so your age should be 18 to 30 years. - We will provide the volunteers all their costs: one way tickets, accommodation, money for food/or we will provide all food, pocket money - Volunteers will live in hostel in train station and in an agroturistic house with other volunteers in a shared room (2-3 volunteers in a room) in Hajnówka town in Podlasie, a unique region in eastern Poland with a rich history and traditions, surrounded by beautiful Białowieza forest.

Training during the activity

You will be a port of team: - technical staff - street art promotional actions, - help with social media, took photo - operating bicycle rickshaws and transporting people in the city space (transporting people to the festival events) - running the festival café and coffee corner - helping in the kitchen (cooperation with a professional cook) After the festival you will help us to breathe the artistic spirit into the new cultural, educational and artistic centre which we are creating in the building of the former railway station. You don't have to be a master in any of the above field.

You don't have to be a master in any of the above fields. What counts is willingness to work, openness and a good attitude. We work together and support each other - we make a team. Be a part of it.
