Activity description
The volunteer will support the Centre social Quartier Vitalité staff, with the main goal to lead projects responding to the population of our place, especially to the up to 60 years old (solitude, social breakdow). He/She will offer pedagogical and educational activities with children and young people. The activities will deal with: >Social awareness: Raising awareness about social isolation; Developing intergenerational projects; Developing links between specialized actors >Pedagogical and educational activities: Being an ambassador of his/her own country; Proposing workshops and activities on various topics (environment and sustainable development, cultural activities, facilitation digital access…); Raising awareness about European mobility and the impacts on social integration >European knowledge: Informing about the European devices for young people; Sharing experience of mobility with children, youngs and families.Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The accommodation of the volunteer will be in a flatsharing residence in Oullins "So Coloc". Nearby the residence there are public transports and all kind of conveniences. The volunteer will share this flat with up to 7 young people (french and/or Erasmus students, ESC volunteers). In the flat, there is a shared living room and a shared kitchen all equipped as well as two bathrooms. Every person will have a private room fully equiped. Wi-Fi will also be available. Concordia will provide to the volunteer food money (7,50€ per day) + pocket money (6,00 € per day). Transport card is included.Training during the activity
