VISIONEERS gGmbH
Berlin, Germany
Activity description
VISIONEERS aims to promote dialogue between young people of diverse backgrounds, increase cultural awareness and empower young people to be active European citizens. VISIONEERS has developed an increasing array of programs especially in support of refugee teenagers from different countrys situated in Germany. For example, we manage a German school for teenagers who do not have a space in a German school. The focus of this training is on German language instruction, targeted exchange between German nationals and the newcomers, and demonstrating that Berlin is a place of opportunity and a bright future. VISIONEERS collaborates closely with refugee shelters, churches and other locally based organizations. You would be a member of our youth team and support our social worker and German teacher. And also help out in our social cafe 4 afternoons. We give you the freedom to develop yourself professionally and personally and to contribute your own ideas.
