Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You'll reside in a house with all necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen and Wi-Fi. Each room will be shared with a fellow volunteer of the same gender. As part of the experience, you'll be responsible for cooking meals. You'll receive a daily food allowance of €5 and €3 pocket money to cover personal expenses. The Cogealac Youth Center, where you'll work daily, is conveniently located just 400m from your accommodation. Additionally, the rural setting offers opportunities for exploration by foot or public transportation, enabling you to fully embrace the local lifestyle.

Training during the activity

The first month of the project is all about training and induction. You'll receive a comprehensive orientation to get you up to speed, and then you'll dive into workshops and hands-on training to build skills in project management, teamwork, communication, and leadership. We'll also cover topics like sustainable agriculture, environmental education, and community development, so you'll be equipped with everything you need to succeed. And don't worry, it won't be all work and no play! We'll mix in some fun team-building activities to keep things lively. So get ready to learn and grow.
