Arts Lab 5.0: Do you love acting?

Activity description

Attention young actors! Make a positive impact in local communities with our six-month volunteering project. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to create unique installations within the MAF, JEMOM, Cucuteni, and Rromanes alternative museums. Through non-formal education, you will learn valuable tools to share your artistic skills with youth and locals alike, all while working in a flexible and supportive environment for 38 hours a week. Build a valuable artistic portfolio, collaborate with youth and adults, and receive a European certificate. Our project is a unique blend of an art residency, non-formal education, and community development, providing a one-of-a-kind opportunity to use your passion for acting for supporting youth in personal development.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

We offer double room accommodation at our youth center (Act House, Cucuteni no.8, attic, Târgu Frumos, Iași county, Romania). You'll receive a monthly allowance of 150 euros (for food) and 4 euros per day (as pocket money), which is sufficient for living standards in Târgu Frumos. We'll reimburse travel costs based on a lump sum and provide guidance on how to reach us. Târgu Frumos is a small and safe town near Iași, the second largest city in Romania, known as the cultural capital of Romania.

Training during the activity

Join us as a volunteer and gain new skills and knowledge through our training programs, which include Romanian language, leadership, project management, and more. You'll attend trainings provided by the Romanian National Agency and meet other volunteers. Plus, as a bonus, you'll get to meet our former volunteers to hear about their learning experiences with Arts Lab. This is the fifth edition of our program, so join us and be part of our passionate and creative community! In 2028, we plan a conference with all 100 Arts Lab volunteers.
