Admin & Finance Officer in Colombia (Bogotá) Humanitarian Volunteer

Alianza por la Solidaridad, a member of ActionAid, aims to achieve an active citizenship that fights against inequalities and for the recognition of human rights. It carries out development cooperation and education projects to eradicate gender-based violence, migrants' rights and for climate justice. Join us at our office in Bogotá! You will have the chance to work hand in hand with the financial teams of Alianza. You will support them in the preparation of project and office budgets, financial monitoring and justification of activities and projects and management of relevant financial documents. In addition, you will gain experience in the elaboration of financial reports, audits and be familiar with the financial follow up of the activities in the field. In the end of your experience you will have acquired knowledge and experience in the administrative and financial management in projects of development cooperation and humanitarian aid.

Alloggio, vitto e trasporto

You will have the opportunity to live with other people but with individual bedroom. The accommodation costs and utility bills will be covered by the organization and a phone card will be provided. The house will be located near the office. You will receive a monthly allowance of 570€ for your personal expenses, including food and local transport.

Formazione durante l'attività

You will receive training which will cover topics such as: induction to Alianza por la Solidaridad, induction to the European Solidarity Corps, responsibilities and rights of the organisations and of the volunteer, Youthpass, Henner insurance and SHEA. In addition you will be trained more specifically in feminist leadership and rules on monitoring and financial justification. In the end of your volunteering, you will know how to work in a multidisciplinary team, both on the field and in the office, as well as the justification procedures of each Spanish funder and how to create budgets.

Profilo del partecipante

We are looking for a person eager to learn and work in a team and able to adapt to the context. Interest in developing skills in administration and finance. Motivation to be on the field to work closely between the implementation of activities and economic justification. Studies and any experience in economic monitoring, accounting, or administration, as well as Spanish language skills, will be an asset. If you are migrant, live in rural areas, have limited economic support or any other don´t hesitate to sign up, this opportunity is for everyone!
