Description

You will have the opportunity to work in a team dedicated to analyse and design processes for the formation of the TECHO Alumni network. You will explore different approaches & methodologies to ensure the success of the project and maximise its impact. In addition, you will evaluate different opportunities for community building with technology platforms & research best practices in the industry, identifying the most effective tools & technologies for creating a global network of volunt. committed to social change, and developing strategies to ensure the accessibility & usability of the platform for the TECHO Alumni community. You will also have the task of creating the ideal experience to implement & achieve the conformation of the network at the end of the project. This will involve working closely with other team members to develop an effective launch strategy and ensure that the platform is easy to use and accessible to all members of the Alumni TECHO community.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The office shares space with TECHO in Chile and has access to a nice park to share outdoors with animals. Youthful atmosphere and opportunity to actively participate in the volunteer team as well as to participate in construction during the period of stay in Chile. The volunteer will receive a monthly per diems of 565,50 € to cover their food and other expenses.

Training during the activity

Volunteers will improve their professional knowledge through training in humanitarian action, and specific issues on security, gender, psychosocial support... and will be provided with training resources to continue their learning. Those selected will receive briefings/training at MdM headquarters in Madrid with the different departments related to the mission and the position, as well as mandatory online training on environmental issues before they start their field work. Training sessions will take place both in the countries of the supporting organisations and in of the host organisations. 

Participant profile

Selection criteria: Ability to propose and take action. / Networking experience / Passion for networking. Minimum requirements: Graduate / Experience in network management, networking. Required competencies: Interpersonal skills / Ability to make reports and presentations.
