Description

“Beyond borders” is a special program funded which aims to promote volunteering activities among people with fewer opportunities. Being a part of this program and sharing the principles of diversity and inclusion, COCAT offers 7 funded places in our international work camps in Catalonia for people with fewer opportunities. Our program is dedicated to providing opportunities to those who may face socio-economic problems, social obstacles, educational difficulties, physical and mental difficulties,or uneployed. We understand that everyone deserves the chance to volunteer, and we are committed to providing a supportive environment that encourages personal growth and development. You'll be hosted on an international Catalan work camp, spending 15 days volunteering on the environment, renovation, or archaeological projects alongside other passionate volunteers. PROJECT ONLY FOR VOLOUNTEERS WITH FEWER OPPORTUNITIES. Check www.cocat.org, and contact a sending organization from your country

However, generally the participants of the work camps are living in rural areas and the accommodation can be in tents, schools, hostels or gyms, with all necessary facilities (depends on the project and the planning of the hosting organization).
