Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
In a shared flat and private bedroom with another volunteer in the school: https://jeunesdelafol74.wordpress.com/2022/05/03/types-of-accomodations-for-ces-volunteers/ The volunteers will have bicycles at their disposal. They might be asked to use the car of the organization during their mission. Round trip, food (allowance), pocket money and insurance is covered.
Training during the activity
Training can be considered for the volunteer based on his/her needs and according to his/her availability within the framework of his/her missions. The PSC1 (First aid) certificate and the BAFA certificate (diploma that allows you to supervise children and teenagers in a non-professional capacity, on an occasional basis, in group camps for minors.) could be considered. Other training courses on various themes (fight against discrimination, ecology, sport,...) may be proposed, depending on the offer of the FOL 74 and the national network of the Ligue de l'Enseignement at that time.
Participant profile
- A solid grounding in French and an increased willingness to practice and improve French expression. - An interest in environmental and ecological issues is imperative. - Driving license
