Description

The project consists of taking part in different actions to promote volunteering and raise awareness among young people about local and international volunteering. Specifically, the TASKS to be carried out by the volunteer will be: • Support for the BEGIRALDATU programme, to raise awareness in secondary schools and vocational training centres, and the UNIKIDE programme, to raise awareness in university centres. * Support for the dissemination, awareness-raising and communication actions of the EUSC programme carried out by BizkaiaGara, such as: interviews with the media, relations with young people interested in the programme, participation in events and talks on information and dissemination of the programme, etc. • Support for the usual activities to promote volunteering among young people that are carried out by BG. * Support for the implementation of european activities of volunteering and events.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will be accommodated in a hostel or a flat in a single room and with access to the kitchen and common areas. The acommodation is located in the city of Bilbao or in the metropolitan area. The place is connected by public transport to the center of the city (underground, train and bus). The volunteer will have a BARIK card that will be recharged monthly with the corresponding subscription, and can be used for any transport within the city. Financial allowance of €200 per month for living expenses.

Training during the activity

The volunteer will have access to the EU ACADEMY online platform (they will be provided with a computer to connect to the platform) to learn the language,As a complement to the online platform provided by the programme, we will try to reinforce language learning with private classes from different resources. BizkaiaGara will provide you with all the necessary knowledge so that you can carry out your task in the best possible way, both on the part of the technical team and with the reinforcement of materials or training resources that are considered appropriate.

Participant profile

* a person with a certain degree of autonomy in the tasks entrusted to him/her and with already acquired social skills. • Have had some experience of volunteering and preferably over 22 years old * should be outgoing and take initiative because she/he will need to be able to speak to different audiences and in different spaces. • With a basic level of Spanish
